Destination Wedding Info

Airport: Luqa Malta Airport is approx 25 minutes from the city centre St Julians.

Taxis: Bolt is available. Uber is very unreliable. Registered black cabs (eCabs) are also great. We recommend avoiding using the white taxis!!

Airport Info: The airport is very small, no need to give too much time for the taxis.

Rental Cars: You will need to exit the airport and follow signs to the rental unit (10 mins approx)

Accommodation: The most suitable areas we recommend are St Julians, Spinola Bay, Sliema.

Beaches: Visit Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa (Riviera) or St Peter's Pool.

Shopping: St Julians, Sliema or Tigne Point

Weather: September in Malta is warm and sunny, with average daytime temperatures between 25°C – 30°C. Evenings are usually around 20°C. Note: there are cobbled streets and plenty of steep hills in Malta.

Traffic: Please leave enough time to get to the venues, there is always heavy traffic and roadworks in Malta, especially on weekends.

Currency: Euros - busses accept card payments, but I would recommend to always have cash in Malta.
